Challenge yourself, forge a team, unite forces and achieve glory
From 11 to 13 July 2025, all Beijing Langke employees travelled to the picturesque Fengning Bashang Grassland to take part in a three-day team-building activity with the theme “Unite Hearts and Minds, Co-Create the Future”. The purpose of the activity was to enhance employee cohesion and team effectiveness through a variety of outdoor experiences and collaborative projects, while also providing an opportunity to relax and unwind from busy work schedules and appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of nature.
Day 1: First Experience on the Grassland, BBQ Party Night
On the afternoon of 11 July, the team departed from Beijing by coach, enjoying the rolling landscapes of the Yanshan Mountains along the way. After approximately four hours, they arrived at the Fengning Bashang Grassland. Against a backdrop of blue skies and white clouds, the vast expanse of lush green grassland and blooming wildflowers created an awe-inspiring scene that instantly transported everyone away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
In the evening, the team checked into a local hotel. After a brief rest, they were treated to the first highlight of the team-building event: a barbecue and bonfire party on the grassland. Everyone worked together, with some grilling the food, some setting up the venue and some serving. In this joyful atmosphere, they prepared dinner together. The aroma of grilled food filled the grassland, accompanied by ice-cold beer and the melodious singing of team members, creating an exceptionally lively ambience. At the banquet, company leader Mr Han thanked all employees for their hard work and encouraged everyone to relax and enjoy the upcoming activities.
Day 2: Activities included horse riding, off-roading and team-building exercises to showcase team strength
The second day's activities were action-packed and rewarding. In the morning, some team members went horse riding on the grasslands. Although some were nervous about riding for the first time, encouragement from their peers and patient guidance from the horse owners soon put them at ease, and they quickly mastered the basic techniques, bravely riding forward and experiencing the grandeur of the landscape described as "the wind blows the grass low to reveal cattle and sheep". Meanwhile, other colleagues took off-road vehicles to explore the heart of the grasslands. The convoy traversed the undulating grasslands, accelerating for sprints and slowing down to admire the scenery, blending excitement with enjoyment. Wildflowers, lakes and herds of horses prompted frequent stops for photos along the way, capturing unforgettable moments.
In the afternoon, the team split into groups to take part in fun team-building exercises which tested individual reaction skills and emphasised teamwork and communication. In the 'silent transmission of numbers or Chinese characters' segment in particular, team members had to complete the task without seeing, relying solely on their teammates' hand gestures for guidance. This fully demonstrated the importance of trust and synergy.
Following the team-building activities, the team held an 'icebreaker session', briefly summarising the performance of the first and second quarters, and announcing the performance targets and departmental sales tasks for the third quarter. Beijing Langke has intensified its R&D efforts in the second half of this year, focusing on promoting in-demand products such as food wrap packaging machines, weight detection machines, combination Weighing scales and high-precision industrial scales, while also promoting the company's brand. The company's leaders hope that all colleagues will bring this spirit of unity and collaboration to their work, driving Langke collectively towards new heights.
Day 3: Grassland Stroll, Farewell and Outlook
On the final day of the activity, the team visited Beijing North Wetland Grassland – Lightning Lake. As the sun shone over the vast green fields, its golden light intertwined with the shimmering lake surface to create a scene reminiscent of a fairyland. Everyone captured this breathtaking moment with their cameras. At noon, the team began their return journey. Looking back at the grassland, they felt reluctant to leave, but their hearts were filled with beautiful memories and renewed motivation.
Conclusion: Team Building Empowerment, Moving Forward Together
This team-building activity was a success, allowing Beijing Langke employees to experience the majestic beauty of the grasslands and enhancing team cohesion through a series of interactive projects. Each activity enabled participants to grow through challenges and improve their collaboration. In the future, the Langke team will embrace new challenges with renewed enthusiasm and closer cooperation, striving together for brilliance!
